Such a great book store! It's got antique books, such a cozy vibe with old prints, puzzle, of course books! Loved the vibes of being in an older building. They have a wine bar, and looked like they were opening up a coffee area. My favorite book store now, and I've been to Powell's in Portland.

Absolutely GORGEOUS place! I have not seen a place with such a perfect vibe since... Well pretty much ever! I love their cool collection of antique books, haven't bought any myself, but I'm considering!

The owner Gilbert was so charming. What a beautiful, quaint bookstore. It smelled like nostalgia. A beautiful mix of old books, knowledge and a hint of leather and whiskey. Listening to the grandfather clock chime the time instantly took me back to my abuelitos home. Beautiful gorgeous spot to stay a while.

This place has a HUGE collection of literature, from local to foreign. This place has a very cozy atmosphere and a homey vibe. The parking can be a little tedious, but it's totally worth it. The local selection of literature is phenomenal. They have from horror to action, to drama, to religious. #LoveBúho

I'm a nerd and love books! I'm so proud of how much Búho has grown since it's opening! It's a true gem! There's a decent selection of new and previously read books as well as other neat tchotchke and souvenirs. The atmosphere is so warm and cozy!

When I came in here, all I could really think to myself was “wow.” THIS is a bookstore. They honestly have every genre, second hand, new; they have posters, stickers, PLUSHIES! All of the employees were incredibly helpful and I just loved the areas of places to sit and read. I got my hands on some beautiful posters and some artworks for an absolute steal of a price. I really do love everything about this shop, I can’t wait for my next visit. If you’re looking for a sign to go and visit, this is it. 🦉💕

Really enjoyed the vibe of this place and looking forward to going back to check out their other events. I went for an open poetry/art night in between the very cool space and the different performers. I really enjoyed my time there. A cool bookstore with a little something for everyone and very friendly staff

What a special and beautiful place! It is so nice to have this multifunctional book store in the community. Not only is the selection of books really great but the ambiance and layout make the perfect study space and hang out for students, bookworms, and perusers alike. This spot really feels a part of the brownsville community. Need to protect and support small businesses like these made by and for the people!
